So you might be thinking to yourself, "pretty sure the plot of F-Zero Climax is Space Car Zoom Zoom so why the hell do you think this GBA game should have been a film you stupid small-eyed toad?"

Well firstly, jokes on you my eyes are actually normal-sized it's just my head is massive, and secondly, because deep within this pixellated handheld game is a story worth telling on the big screen. Plus let's face it Climax is the weakest game in the franchise, if only because every other entry is an absolute banger. Plus Plus the world needs more F-Zero in general so just give me this one.

The story in question centers on a brand new cast of characters, one of which is Rick Wheeler, who admittedly debuted in the prior GB game, but truly takes center stage here as he dons the mantle of the New Captain Falcon. This moment could provide the entire drive of the movie, seeing Rick grow up watching the original Captain as a kid, mastering racing himself, and then finally continuing on the Captain's Legacy.

Plus if you took notes from the absolute masterclass in animation that is the film Redline then you would for sure have a game that felt as fast on the screen as it does in real life.
