8 Video Games With Playable Cut Content
6. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Not that you'd ever be in danger of being at a loss for things to do in Skyrim, but once upon a time, Bethesda planned to have its snow-touched Northern playspace populated by Jarls, mammoths and Daedra even more packed with content than it already is.
Similarly to Obsidian's New Vegas, much of Bethesda's work went to waste on content doomed to sit unused on the disc, but what it deemed unworthy, others have spent considerable time restoring.
That includes assets as small as unused items to missing NPCs and their associated quests being reintegrated back into the live game.
Several entire locations, including Stonehill Village - which was always intended to be present but somehow ended up as the video game equivalent of Roanoke - and its residents, return to their land, filling in the gaps (un)intentionally left by Bethesda.
