8 Video Games You Didn't Know Had KILLER Hidden Features

4. The Typing Of The Skullgirls - Skullgirls

Spiderman 2002 Green Goblin
Reverge Labs

Have you ever found yourself locking your opponents in an endless juggling combo move and suddenly thought to yourself "I guess this is pretty cool but I wish I could spell Disestablishmentarianism"? Well fret not, friend, because your weirdly specific situation has a solution that can be found in the almighty beat em up Skullgirls.

Not only is this title a brilliantly slick fighting title a blast to play online or with friends, but the devs even found the time to include a hidden feature that is at once a hilarious reference to The Typing Of The Dead, but also an absolute hoot to take part in.

By typing "Gottatypefast!" in at the intro screen on the PC version, you'll unlock The Typing Of The Skullgirls mode. In this scenario, your super meter is constantly charging encouraging their uses, but once you've input the combo, time will freeze and a random phrase or set or words will pop up which you now need to type in before the move will register. Fail and you whiff your attack, succeed and you get to indulge in a gloriously over-the-top move, AND know that all those kicks to the head you've taken so far in this game haven't dulled your brain in the slightest.
