8 Video Games You Spent 100+ Hours In (And Still Haven't Finished)
3. Elden Ring
As quite comfortably the newest game on this list, Elden Ring gets cut a little slack in the "never finished it" department, though PS5 trophy data makes it clear that around 75% of players haven't achieved any of the game's endings.
Unlike basically every other game on this list, Elden Ring's low completion rate despite colossal time investment from players en masse is as much to do with the richness of its world and staggering amount of content on offer as just how damn challenging it is.
Sure, Elden Ring is certainly "easier" than most prior FromSoftware games by granting players more combat options and allowing them to return to challenging foes later on, but it's still by any typical metric a ball-bustingly difficult game.
And again, it's a huge one, with the main story taking 50-60 hours alone, while factoring in side content and the sheer exploration of The Lands Between can very easily double this.
