Tucked away in the brilliant indie platformer Fez, a fiendish Easter egg awaits (and blocks your path to total completion), which took an entire internet community to finally crack the code to the Black Monolith. It really isn’t hard to see why: it involves standing in exactly the right spot, and entering a complex Tetromino button code solution.

The code can be cracked by visiting a room with a large tablet that shows a Tetromino block based on your movements. However, the code isn’t easy to read on the purple tablets, and to read it, you must rotate the set of runes counterclockwise. 

Reading the runes on their side is the key to cracking the code and claiming your prize. Worth it? Probably not for everyone, no.
