8 Weirdest Enemies Cut From Video Games

1. Mr. Friendly (Half-Life)

Half Life Mr Friendly

At face value, Mr. Friendly looks like an utter abomination, but with a name like that, he can't be too bad, right? WRONG. A fleshy, four-limbed alien monster removed from the original Half-Life game, this creature's design, attacks, and backstory are all quite disturbing, and about as far from friendly as you can get.

A misshapen beast with the back legs of a horse, the torso of a human, the head of an alien and the front limbs of Mr. Tickle, Mr. Friendly was designed to essentially "shuffle" around the environment, and would've acted as a vulture of sorts, feasting upon the bodies of dead enemies killed by the player.

Even more unnerving was the way Mr. Friendly would've interacted with the player directly. Over the years, the enemy has come to be known as "the Half-Life sex monster" and that's because one of its moves would've been to pull the player towards itself until the point of "fatal copulation". Yikes.

Some of Mr. Friendly's more "normal" moves would've been to slap and whip the player with its elongated front limbs, and it was even suggested that the enemy would be able to cause the player's vision to go blurry for a short time period, making him a tricky threat to deal with.

But of course, Mr. Friendly doesn't feature in the game in a proper manner. And for that, we can only thank the heavens.
