These days, talk of virtual reality is everywhere. In October 2016, PlayStation released PS VR, the first virtual reality set from one of the Big Three. Everywhere you look there's talk of new VR titles, hilarious videos of people being disorientated by the headset and falling over, or general talk about how it's going "revolutionise" gaming.

The only problem is... it's still ludicrously expensive. PS VR costs a whopping £349.99 in the UK, which is over one-hundred pounds more expensive than an actual PS4 console (you need one of those too, of course). That's a hell of a lot of money for an accessory to a console, especially when you could sink that money on an Xbox One or a Wii U and still have enough money left for three or four games.

When discussing VR, all the average person really has to contribute is "Man, I'd love to try it, I hear it's great, but I just haven't been able to". Sure, there are demonstrations dotted about, but finding one of those is a matter of chance.

And speaking of always hearing that VR is great...
