8 WWE Video Game Moments That Were Flat Out Weird

2. Steven Richards Gets Big Show's Push (No Mercy)

WWF No Mercy N64

Ah, WWF No Mercy on N64. One of the best (if not the best) wrestling video games of all time and a timeless classic that's still playable today. The gameplay is fluid, the roster extensive and the Championship Mode remains a joy to play.

Gun for the WWF Title and you'll be able to experience the drama of WrestleMania 2000's Fatal-4-Way elimination match involving stars like Triple H, The Rock and Mick Foley. Big Show doesn't make the cut however; he'd been demoted to OVW at the time of the game's release, and THQ therefore had to find a replacement.

They chose Steven Richards.

Lord knows why the Right To Censor leader, a mid-card performer at best, was suddenly thrust into the 'Mania main event picture instead of someone who was an actual headliner, but it happened. There's only one phrase we can use to sum up our feelings.

Dig-Dig-Diggity Dig-Diggity Dog.
