9 100+ Hour Video Games You NEED To Play

2. Cyberpunk 2077

I went into writing this list with a rule not to repeat two games from the same developer but we’re pretty far in and there are almost no games that take place in the future so it seems like a pretty good opportunity to peddle out my 2023 fixation, Cyberpunk 2077.

With an extremely broad set of RPG customisation options, character building mechanics, choices, plenty of ways to get your jobs done cleanly or as messy as possible, Cyberpunk 2077 is basically whatever game you want it to be. Sure, at its core it’s telling you a specific story that incorporates warring factions, political intrigue, hologram Keanu Reeves, the bleeding heart of Night City, and everyone caught in its wake, what you do around that and how you engage with even its most vital of mission components is entirely up to you.

Cyberpunk can be a stealth sniper game, a netrunning playground, or if you’re like me a metropolis for you to run, gun, and decimate your way through.

Including the recently released Phantom Liberty DLC and the oodles of improvements and patches that haven’t just bandaged but significantly overhauled huge swathes of the game to great impact, Cyberpunk 2077 is a gargantuan sci-fi epic that really shouldn’t be missed.
