9 Anticipated Video Games You Won't See Again Until E3 2019
2. Starfield
Bethesda are notorious with their announcing of release dates - where most companies will announce their games years prior to release, Bethesda typically only reveals them mere months before they're going to be released.
They broke that precedent at the end of their conference however, by giving a peek into the future at the two games after Fallout 76 - Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6. Fallout 76 will have been released by next year's E3, and Elder Scrolls 6 will still be far too far in the future, but there's a good chance that we'll see Starfield in some detail.
If Bethesda continue their new tradition of holding their own E3 conference they're going to need a lot next year - including a big game at the end. Fallout 76 took that place this year, but beyond possible DLC for the game there's not as much to pique fans' interest, unless Starfield gets featured.
It likely won't release in 2019, but that doesn't have to stop Bethesda showing us a lot about the game. Since it's a new IP from a company that hasn't done one of those in 25 years, fans will be more expectant than ever for new information - how does the game play? What is the lore of the series? Will the IP have multiple games?
Bethesda could features this one in conferences for years.
