Oh hey Konami, here's an idea: when you want to reboot your fan-favourite football game Pro Evo for something else, maybe make sure you do it right?

eFootball may just take the cake for launch disaster of the year. Riddled with absolutely hilarious bugs and basically unplayable, eFootball was an absolute joke. As 2021 closes, according to Metacritic, this is the worst reviewed game of the year with a score of just 29.

Konami, at the launch of EFootball, declared it to be a 'demo of sorts', but still put it on stores asking for money. It was worth absolutely no money whatsoever.

The bugs and glitches, however, were an absolute hoot to watch. Players running with their arms flailing behind them like they were a kid playing superheroes, players standing in T poses singing a national anthem, disappearing character models and the referee turning into a pancake on the ground were just a few of the examples that came out of the launch.

Good to see Konami really making quality games like they used to, isn't it?
