9 Career Mode Moments WWE 2K15 Needs To Make You Feel Like A Superstar

From NXT to Wrestlemania, we want to be in control every step of the way.

Due to its launch being three months away, the information blitzkrieg for WWE 2K15 has been steamrolling ahead. Flashy gameplay pics have hit the net of John Cena (with the most realistic looking Jorts ever) and Randy Orton (still refusing to put on pants) facing off in the squared circle. With even more time behind the creative helm, publisher 2K and developer Visual Concepts have begun overhauling graphics and gameplay innovations, including bringing in the first real story mode option since WWE '12. WWE 2K15 will feature a MyCareer mode, reminiscent of the lauded offering in NBA 2K14. NBA 2K14's MyCareer mode featured a swath of creative roleplaying options for armchair dribblers, offering players the ability to not only customise their looks but answer press conference and interview questions, overall controlling the direction they wanted their career to go - although players could still realistically get "Wiggins"ed and get traded away from a powerhouse team. This same kind of realistic creative control could have many positive impacts on 2K's wrestling series, which has been plagued in the past for poor story mode offerings (for example, Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 found players picking sides in a McMahon civil war one week only to find themselves against the whole damn family the next week). This is an important litmus test for 2K and their generally well received unique game modes, and there are a few particular accomplishments they need to allow players to have for their superstars to truly become legends.
