9 Crucial Ways Microsoft Can Save The Xbox One At E3 2017

8. Stick It To Sony

The time is right freakin' now for Microsoft to release a video like the above i.e. the video that cemented the consensus that Sony had everybody's best intentions at heart.

Because what's happened since? Sony decided to charge people to play their own video game collections, as the only way to play PS2 and PS3 games is by purchasing a PS Now subscription. Even if the game is literally on your shelf, you're stuck with a laggy emulation instead.

Not the case on Xbox One as you just pop a disc in and the console does the rest, and it's high-time Microsoft literally released a video like the above, called something like "How to play last generation games on Xbox One". Literally address head-on the fact that one system charges you to play your collection, whilst the other does not.

Call it playful competition or a swift and necessary needling, it didn't stop Sony kicking Microsoft when they were down in 2013, and it's time they got a taste of their own medicine.
