9 Launch Games That Would Ensure Xbox Scorpio's Success
3. Halo 6
Xbox's mascot would, without a doubt, be spearheading this list if not for the uncertainty surrounding Halo 6's current status. It's coming, there's no doubt about that, but 343 Industries has been eerily quiet about Master Chief's return for several months now, seemingly content with providing support for Halo Wars 2 and, indeed, Halo 5 instead.
Near two years have passed since the latter's release, though, so the gears should soon be set in motion for Microsoft to gift the world with its first teaser for the bookend to the second trilogy. As Mario and Link have done (and continue to do so) for Nintendo, Halo's faceless protagonist would singlehandedly push sales for Microsoft's new hardware harder than any other first-party title.
The chances of Halo 6 making it in time for Scorpio's launch are essentially nil, but a strong showing at E3 of it running on Scorpio should be enough of a token gesture to, if nothing else, add a boost to pre-order numbers.
