9 Launch Games That Would Ensure Xbox Scorpio's Success
2. Crackdown 3
One of few first-party titles actually known to be currently in development for the Xbox family, Crackdown 3 now stands largely alone (rest in piece, Scalebound) in reassuring Xbox owners that opting to settle with the One over its competitors was a wise decision that'll pay off later this year.
Thanks to the incredible start to 2017 Sony has had with the likes of Nioh, NieR: Automata and Horizon Zero Dawn, there's no denying that Microsoft is going to be playing second fiddle for the remaining eight months of the year, but Crackdown 3 is supposedly holding true to its current projected launch date of 2017, its previous delays, I'm sure, being the result of Microsoft wanting to have at least one triple-A title banked for Scorpio's launch.
Promising destructive realism on a scale so huge that it requires multiple servers and real-time data storage in the cloud just to compensate, Crackdown 3 has every chance of being a shining technical achievement that only the power of Scorpio can fully realise.
