Battle royale on the Switch? Why yes... what took you so long?

Whilst Epic are keeping very schtum as to whether Fortnite is making its way to Switch, developers Black Riddles Studio have crowdfunded their own version, set to drop in the second quarter of 2018. Fantastically, Crazy Justice is actually multi-platform with cross-platform play (at this stage, anyway, Sony will likely shut it down on PS4), but could still represent the first battle royale game on Nintendo's little red n' blue baby.

Carrying over Fortnite's art style and building components, Crazy Justice allows for more physics-based destruction of levels and buildings, with the latter's parts all tumbling down individually, crushing anyone unlucky enough to be in the way.

The short trailer also touts some additional PvE elements as A.I. in the level will learn from any player encounters, becoming a more formidable foe as any match progresses. The devs have been completely open about how "under construction" everything is at this early stage, but with only a few months between now and a public release, here's hoping it comes together.
