7. Metal Gear Solid 3 - The End

Admit it. 90% of you would laugh if you didn't know this was from MGS.

The End was an over 100 years old sniper that basically "created" sniping. As if that wasn't enough, his body was somehow able to keep itself alive via photosynthesis, plus he had adaptive camoflague. And that was way back in 1960s. Metal Gear Solid is a series that has walked the fine line between "realistic" and "over-the-top-crazy" since its creati0n. This particular character is but one of the many strange and curious elements included in this vast world.

Anyhow, Naked Snake was hunted by The End (however implausible that might sound) during the events of MGS 3. While the player could fight in a daring sniper duel, there was another way of dealing with this elderly gentleman. The series has always had some unique twists on its boss fights. Thus, it wasn't much of a surprise when the players realised that there's an interesting alternative to fighting The End.

Should you save during the duel, and leave the game for two entire weeks, The End will die of old age. No, seriously, you can wait this guy to death. If that isn't inventive, we don't know what is.
