2. Insomniac - Dead or Alive 5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CS3OTIw2mKQ Dead or Alive 5 has missed out on the top spot by an inch, only being beaten because, unlike the trophy in first place, this one didnt nearly give me a nervous breakdown. Those of you familiar with it will know this appalling excuse for a trophy should not logically exist, and for the unfamiliar among you it asks for the player to finish story mode without having skipped any cutscenes. Yeah, thats right, the story is so realty-implodingly awful players get rewarded for tolerating the sodding thing. However, the real travesty behind this trophy isnt that the story is so uninteresting, nonsensical, and drawn-out players need an extra incentive not to give up on it, but that the developers knew it was all those things. It is a lazy fart in the face of every loyal fan who bought the game, demonstrating how the writers both know and dont care that their game is unacceptably bad, no longer giving the slightest toss as to whether their buyers actually enjoy themselves with the disc theyve just spent a two week food budget on. The very notion of this trophy is insulting and whoever came up with it should be immediately fired. Cutscenes are so tedious the promise of a trophy wouldnt even convince Ghandi to have the patience to sit through the dross, leaving what is supposed to be a reward simply as a malicious little reminder that nobody involved in the game could care less about player or their happiness.
