9 Nintendo Switch Exclusives That Could Be Announced At E3
8. Paper Mario Switch
So we've already got Super Mario Odyssey locked in for an appearance at Nintendo's non-conformist presence at E3 this year, but, as has been proven time and again, Ninty never puts all of its eggs in one basket.
Mario's appeal stretches beyond his platforming roots to genres far and wide, and while some of them are total stinkers - please, no more golf or tennis - RPGs and Italian plumbers are, on the whole, a match made in heaven.
The last few iterations featuring Mario's thinner, foldable self have regressed in quality rather than made any meaningful strides forward, but we're all allowed to make mistakes. Color Splash wasn't a terrible entry, but it lacked all of the major RPG elements that made Thousand-Year Door and the N64 original so memorable and flopped because of it.
Let's just hope Nintendo hasn't taken that game's performance as a sign the series has lost its audience. Hopefully they have something special to share at E3. We're still here, ready as ever for another A4-sized adventure!
