There's no character in video-games who's as hopelessly stuck in the 90s as Duke. Seeing him attempt a 2010s revival was just sad, and not in a "Your heart's in the right place" kind of way. It was like watching a 55 year-old with saggy, leathery skin bleach his hair blonde, then hit some bars alone and try to hook up with 18-year-olds. Don't do that to yourself, man. You're embarrassing yourself. If you want to see Duke in his prime, just go play Duke Nukem 3D. Behind the pixels and sleazy L.A. backdrop, Duke's cheesiness turns into 90s charm. Like any Build Engine shooter, the gameplay still holds up today, and it's a blast wandering around a distinctly 90s L.A., complete with strip clubs, arcades and video stores. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJTw5xXxyKk Which PC games take you on a nostalgic trip through the 90s?
