The announcement of P.T. - otherwise known as Silent Hills - sent every Playstation owner into a furore. Not only was the game absolutely terrifying, but it was packed with hidden details and secrets that hinted towards the shape Hideo Kojima and Guillermo Del Toro's final release would take.

Of course, soon after the title hit the PS4 store, Konami let Kojima and his team go, cancelling the in-development sequel. Not only that, but as mentioned, the publisher actually pulled the free demo from the PS Store, meaning that unless you already had P.T installed, there'd be no way of playing it in the future.

Consequently, PS4s with the title already downloaded went up for sale on Ebay and other auction sites, with prices being set in the thousands. It's not known how many of those actually sold, but even today you can find consoles being put on websites for ridiculously high prices.
