9 Reasons Red Dead Redemption 2 Is Already Better Than GTA 5
5. No Loads Between Interior & Exterior Locations
GTA V almost got this down, what with places like our heroes' houses or a handful of shops and interiors being accessible without an additional load screen. It wasn't the entire game though, and that's where RDR2 comes in.
Touted as a selling point (and likely why the install size is a whopping 100GB), you'll be able to go everywhere in Red Dead Redemption 2 after that initial load-in.
Saloons, mission areas, casinos, shops, sheriff offices - everything should feel as seamless as the myriad animations tying it all together. It's all to let you breathe in the depiction of the west Rockstar have coded, and if they can pull it off, is one hell of a technical achievement.
