9 Reasons Why Automatron Will Make You Love Fallout 4 All Over Again

8. New Enemy Factions Are Persistent

While plenty of new robots show up during Automatron to give you a hard time, there's actually a new human enemy faction introduced in the DLC. The Rust Devils, a band of Mad Max influenced raiders (even more so than the other raiders in the game) obsessed with technology act as the foil for the Sole Survivor throughout one of the missions in the expansion.

While on the surface they're just like any other raider, the new armour introduced alongside them is some of the most visually interesting that the entire game has to offer, while their burned out lair is home to a bunch of terrifying enemies that drop some of the game's best loot.

Even better, the Rust Devils aren't exclusive to the one mission in the DLC, and will actually show up in other places once you've bought the expansion. It doesn't make a major difference in the game world, but the added variety doesn't go amiss once you continue to wander the wasteland after finishing up the expansion's main quest-line.
