9 Things We Learned From Red Dead Redemption 2's Leaked Map
1. There'll Be A Huge Amount Of Level Variety
Even from the map as it is, you can see a noted Penitentiary, the various caravan camps, Blackwater city and what looks like some sort of cave system in the bottom right.
You'll most likely still be traversing a lot of the map on horseback, but it'll be great to see a ton of missions or areas that require you hop off and explore on foot. After all, some of the best parts of Red Dead came from discovering something of your own accord, and Rockstar's signature sauce is most potent when their dynamic game worlds serve you up something completely individual.
It looks like they're iterating on the open plains of the wild west by including far more iconic landmarks, iconic places and things to see and do at a steady pace, which should give RDR a pretty addictive gameplay loop.
