4. GTA IV's Lack Of Fingerless Gloves

I will absolutely admit to being beyond gutted that Niko Bellic's oft-seen fingerless gloves weren't in the game. Such a tiny detail, but for some reason this became a massive talking point around the game's launch.

It didn't help that GTA IV was in itself a major risk and departure from the established tone of the franchise, but in amongst complaints targeted towards driving physics, Niko's constantly moaning personality or the fairly plodding story, was a simple question:

"Where are the fingerless gloves?!"

Watch footage back today and you'll note the majority of Youtubers use mods to give Mr. Bellic the appropriate attire, as even Rockstar had to crop the above image to include Bellic's head on the game's front cover, sans the gloves.

It's just weird, right? Someone out there knows why Niko's costume was changed so late in development, and though it really shouldn't matter, the fact that it's such a small detail is really annoying.
