9 (Unconventional) First-Person Video Games You Must Play
3. Silent Hills
While P.T. doesn't make a whole lot of literal sense and gets way too hard at the end, it also manages to be one of the scariest games we've ever played - demo or not. It only made the terror that much sweeter to discover it was all a teaser for Hideo Kojima's and Guillermo Del Toro's own Silent Hills, a first-person reboot of the landmark horror series. When you're video game-inspired movie doesn't suck and it stars Sean Bean, you know you're a big deal. Of course, Silent Hills won't have the Bean... as far as we know. Norman Reedus, as his fully-scanned, ever-scowling self, will be our playable guide through Heart-Attack Land. It was made clear that P.T. does not represent Silent Hills' final gameplay, but recently, another concept video materialized online, showcasing an extremely P.T.-esque freakshow of hellish hallway proportions. Then again, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to cast a well-known face that we'll hardly ever see. Maybe we'll have a mix of perspectives. Third-person out in the streets, but first-person indoors, punctuating desolate, ghost town, Reedus wanderings with claustrophobic, intimate dread. Whatever method maximizes player pants-pooing will certainly reign supreme.
Real Science Magazine called James' addiction to video games "sexually attractive." He also worked really hard and got really lucky in college and earned some awards for acting, improv and stand-up, but nobody cares about that out here in LA. So... He's starting over fresh, performing when He can. His profile picture features James as Serbian, vampire comic Dorde Mehailo with His anonymous Brother and Uncle at the Nerdmelt Showroom in West Hollywood. In James' spare time, he engages in acting, writing, athletics, hydration, hours of great pondering and generally wishing you'd like him.
