9 Video Game Characters Who Would Make An Awesome Suicide Squad

4. Enchantress - Max Caulfield (Life Is Strange)

Both Max Caulfield and Cara Delevingne’s June Moone begin their journey as slightly naive, awkward characters, but as the plot goes on, both come to terms with their powers. While Max tries to use her powers for good, Enchantress goes in a decidedly different direction.

Delevingne tends to draw criticism whatever role she takes these days, despite decent turns in Paper Towns and the disappointing Valerian. However, criticism of Enchantress is fair; the character is unnecessarily sexualised at every turn, something which thankfully does not happen to Max at Blackwell Academy.

What both Enchantress and Max do share in buckets though is that they are passengers in a convoluted plot. Life Is Strange is wonderful and it could even be argued that it’s the single best game in its niche genre, but with time travel, parallel universes and multi-choice functionality, the plot gets mind-bending at times.

Something else often not taken into account is that June Moone, like Max, is abused. Max is drugged and kidnapped, while June’s heart stabbed by Waller whenever she says ‘no’. And she’s not a career criminal like the rest; she’s an archeologist, possessed. More of a villain than Max, certainly.

But a sympathetic villain, at least.
