Although it was a disappointment at the time, Knights of The Old Republic 2 has gone down in history as an underrated Star Wars gem.

Unfortunately, even though the game has grown in stature as the years have worn on, it's still evidently clear that the sequel was rushed out in order to capitalise on the success of the original. And it didn't take long for fans to discover that the abrupt and deflating end to the game wasn't exactly what the developers had planned.

A quick scout of the on-disc files revealed that parts of the unfinished ending could still be located within the game's code, and for a time, fans of the series were privy to a few soundbites that clued them in on what the finale of Knights of The Old Republic 2 originally was.

Fortunately, these unused files were eventually developed by hardcore fans into a newly-modded ending for the game that added a few more scenes into the original finale. It still didn't completely bring the developer's original vision to life, but it at least provided a little more closure to an otherwise rushed and unfinished ending.
