Instructor Razuvious is the first boss in the Military Quarter wing of Naxxramas, a 10/25-man raid in World of Warcraft’s Wrath of the Lich King expansion, played at level 80.

Razuvious is a death knight, and a fearsome one at that, who works training new death knights for the scourge - including the player, if they chose the death knight class. His role as an instructor comes into play during his encounter, as he is training four death knight understudies with training dummies as you and your raiding party stumble upon him.

All 5 death knights will attack you, and Razuvious’ powerful attacks will quickly eat through your tanks’ health. In order to defeat him, you need to quite literally use his own weapons against him - his pupils.

A priest can mind-control one of the students and use it to withstand Razuvious’ attacks and protect the rest of the party, while the healers keep the enslaved student alive, and the damage dealers get to work dispatching the others.

There are several instances throughout the gigantic MMORPG that involve encouraging a boss to kill their lackeys - and many achievements to be earned from doing so - but this is a great example of the boss’ own arsenal being turned against him in such a brilliantly unique way.
