9 Video Games That Punish You For 100%

1. A Car You Don’t Need - Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch

ni no kuni philmobile 2000
Level-5

This is a really a particularly cruel reward for hitting 100% because it’s actually something you’d really like to have earlier in the game but at the point you’ll be at once you can actually obtain it it’s completely useless. In Ni No Kuni once you complete the entire game you’ll be able to access Errand 131 where a rabbit asks you to kill off stronger versions of all the bosses you’ve fought before in the game. Head back to your rabbit pal, The Conductor, and he’ll give you a new set of boss bounties to eliminate.

Rinse and repeat until you have to kill off the Guardian of Worlds which, if the name didn’t give it away, is going to take a hot minute to say the least.

The rabbit then zaps you to Motor City and he gives you a car. A car that you can use to get all around the game map, the very same game map you’ve thoroughly completed by this point because the game is over. The Philmobile 2000 as it’s named is also a kick in the teeth because it’s the same bloody car you drove into a lake at the start of the game, which resulted in your mother’s death.

Awful. Just awful.
