9 Video Games Where You Should AVOID The Story
4. The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Like other Legend of Zelda entries, Breath of the Wild is swamped with side-quests. By navigating through the 120 shrines, you can locate spirit orbs, which can be traded to expand Link's health and stamina.
By defeating enemies and performing puzzles, you can locate Memories, shields, weapons, and equipment to help you on your quest. (You can also spend ages hunting 500 Korok seeds but I wouldn't recommend it.) On top of everything else, the DLC is so expansive, it'll keep you occupied as long as the main game.
However, it's not the side quests that keep you busy - it's the exploration. You will be urged to climb every mountain, not to reach the next dungeon but simply to see what's on top. You will be compelled to battle Taluses and Lynels, purely to see if you can. Do you know what the franchise's creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, did when he got his hands on Breath of the Wild for the first time? He climbed trees... for an hour. Do you know why? Because climbing trees in this game is freaking awesome.
You can become so immersed in riding bears, meeting dragons, and cooking meals, it's easy to forget you're supposed to save the world.
