9 Video Games With Reviews No One Can Agree Upon
5. Mass Effect 3
In 2012, we all knew that the tale of Shepard was coming to an end. It was gut-wrenching to say the least to think that our time on the Normandy was over. Players were hoping for the best send-off possible for the most loyal and badass crew in the galaxy.
However, after release, it was a toss up as to whether or not the end was the one we deserved.
Even barring discussion of the last fifteen minutes of the game, Mass Effect 3 was a game that was divisive in its delivery. People have disagreed upon whether or not it was a true ending to the epic space opera or if it was just a big let down. Some people felt as if their choices from the last two games were completely ignored, while others felt that it was a heartwarming and righteous way to end the series based on the decisions they made. On the topics of the closing to the Reaper War, the necessity and realism of the Citadel DLC, and the existence of Javik, the fan base is split.
Even seven years later, Mass Effect 3 and its ending are hot-button topics of discussion.
