9 Video Games You Didn't Know Were Connected (Commenter's Edition)
5. Minecraft / Borderlands 2
If there is one thing that stands out in the Borderlands franchise, it's the art style, something that damn near saved these games before it got off the ground. Still feeling fresh today, it makes a difference from the wave of brown and great shooters we got in the 360/PS3 generation.
Not so much saved by its art style, but certainly standing out for it, Minecraft also watched players eyes during the tail end of that generation. And in the strangest turn of events, both worlds are actually connected thanks to a well-hidden cave.
Most probably thanks to the magic that Randy Pitchford possesses, a cave full of Creepers can be found after bashing through some Minecraft looking dirt and stone. From here the Creepers work as expected before the player is confronted by the Badass Creeper.
Once defeated, the is reward is a neat-looking Minecraft skin for the players character.
