9 Video Games You Didn't Know Were Connected (Commenter's Edition)

6. Red Dead Redemption / L.A. Noire

Red Dead Redemption & L.A. Noire
Rockstar Games

Rockstar Games are jam-packed with Easter Eggs and cool things to find throughout. After all, the Grand Theft Auto series is just an amalgamation of the most popular crime movies and TV shows. But one of their coolest Easter Eggs to date actually ties together two of their other titles.

In L.A. Noire the player can decide to explore the world, even though this is one of the emptier games with the Rockstar logo on it. Stopping off in an ally, Cole Phelps comes across some trash, which isn't out of place for L.A. Though after taking a closer look, it's clear what he's found isn't a movie prop.

Yep, that's right, he's actually stumbled across the hat of John Marston. So after dying, in 1911. Jack Marston took his hat, moved to Hollywood, and decided to get with the times, and well threw it in the trash.

Shame Cole didn't get to interview the descendent of John Marston.
