9 Videogame Characters Who Were Punished Far Too Severely

4. Fable 2 €“ The Assassination Targets Clearly Don€™t Deserve Their Fate

Fable - Assassintion As identified in the Skyrim slide, assassins aren€™t exactly a work-shy bunch. They€™ll take up arms for any reason at all if you give them enough coin, and that provides ample opportunities for abuse, Ridiculous, insane abuse, but abuse nonetheless. Possibly the most notorious example of this comes in Fable 2, where as befitting the sandbox-game situation, you€™re free to go around and do whatever you want, even if the concept €˜whatever you want€™ seems to differ between the players and Peter Molyneux. But anyway, enough sniping €“ Fable 2 does let you join an Assassins Guild and carry out duties as befitting an assassin. Of course, with assassinations comes a mark, and usually, you€™d believe that people have done some pretty terrible things to deserve a fate on the pointy end of a paid blade. Well, not in Fable 2 they don€™t €“ people are executed for all sorts of strange reasons, including an overdue library book, selling a half-eaten box of chocolates, believing they€™re funny, or even if they €˜win€™ the draw of the week. With such low standards, I€™m surprised there€™s anyone left in Fable€™s world.
