8. Connections To The Main Canon Are Very Interesting

For example, in the Beginning Hour demo, you can find a picture of what looks like an Umbrella logo emblazoned on a helicopter, alongside some recordings of people discussing your situation as possibly being an experiment, which has led to fans assuming the mansion is less a homestead and more a testing facility of some sort.

To extrapolate further, we see Jack Baker (the older chap) seemingly withstanding being set on fire and being fired upon, leading people to believe that maybe, he's infected by the Las Plagas parasite from RE 4.
