9 Ways The Xbox One Is Secretly Better Than The PS4
2. EA Access
Hilariously, Sony's comment on why EA's pretty great Access service isn't on PS4, is because it doesn't "represent good value to the PlayStation gamer".
It's not that having any other subscription service might take away from people plonking down cash on a PS Plus that now costs money this generation? Oh no, of course not.
Still, though EA are of course best-known for their sports games, the Access subscription lets you get in on all their new titles before the rest of the world. It can be a hindrance to a game's reputation a la Mass Effect Andromeda and all those laughable facial animations, or you can have a few games on the latest FIFA, Battlefield or Star Wars Battlefront.
The point is, there are more options for the consumer, and more options that let you take in a wider variety of prospective purchases without having to purchase on blind faith.
