Any PlayStation fan worth their salt will surely remember Kevin Butler, Sony's fictional Vice President of various departments (such as "Director of Rumor Confirmation") who was used to market the PS3 in its various filmed commercials.

Butler quickly proved popular with fans, such that actor Jerry Lambert was contracted to play the part for several years, even appearing at E3 2010 as the character.

And though Lambert was a veteran day-player in TV for over a decade before Sony came a-calling, it was this role which made him a viral sensation and put him on the map. He then used the success of the commercials to land a memorable movie role in the 2011 Cameron Diaz comedy Bad Teacher.

As the father of one of Diaz's students, he creepily hits on her before slipping her some cash for "supplies," and as hilarious as the scene is, it's impossible for anyone familiar with the Kevin Butler character to pay full attention to the scene.
