1. The Sheepinator - Ratchet & Clank Series
First appearing as a free weapon in the second game, titled Going Commando, this hilarious weapon could be acquired from the MegaCorp Armory on Todano. Staying true to it's name sake, this weapon transforms enemies from fierce opponents to wandering and confused sheep, that are left waiting for Ratchet to give them a good ol' smack with his trusty wrench.
Another fun quirk is that when upgraded, the sheep will also explode, allowing for more amusing chaos. Granted, the weapon doesn't have nearly as much of a fun affect on bosses or bigger enemies, but the flocks of smaller foes are all fair game, and so much more amusing to watch.
It's telling that this is but one of many R&C weapons to pop into your mind when you look back on the early titles, but it is definitely the weirdest of the bunch, as well as of the gaming world as a whole.
