A Way Out Review: One Of The Best Stories Of The Generation

1. Rating

A Way Out
EA

Overall, A Way Out offers a stunning, compelling experience that makes great use of its inherently interactive form to craft a memorable, hard-hitting story.

It wears its influences on its sleeve and the realities of its relatively small-scale production do shine through the cracks on a couple of occasions, but when it's firing on all cylinders its gameplay is so unique, story so well told and ending so satisfying that it's easy to ignore those occasional missteps.

Final Score: 4/5
