AEW Fight Forever: 10 Things To Know Before You Buy

8. The Base Match Types On-Disc

AEW/THQ

2K has taken a lot of sh*t over the years for removing some cherished match types from their WWE series. Of course, they've recently earned huge plaudits for bringing War Games to life in 2K23. So, what does AEW's game have to offer, and does it have any unique match types of its own?

The good news is...yes.

You'll be able to play the standard singles, tag-team, 3-way and 4-way matches, but Fight Forever also boasts ladder bouts, Falls Count Anywhere, the Casino Battle Royale, Unsanctioned Lights Out brawls and the wacky Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match option. There's some proper chaos in that last one if you're willing to experiment.

Weapons carry a meaty thump too. Check out the still above to see Jon Moxley taking quite the bump onto a ladder. The good news is that moments like that one look every bit as great in motion as they do in photos.
