AEW Fight Forever: 5 Things It Does Better Than WWE 2K23 (And 5 It Doesn’t!)

9. DOESN'T: Roster Depth

WWE 2K22 was rightly bashed for feeling outdated when it released. 2K23 remedied that with a more up-to-date clutch of WWE stars, but Fight Forever? Fight Forever’s choices reflect how long this game has been in development, and that's a bit of a downer.

Yes, big names like Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega are present, but things are less impressive the deeper you browse. For example, Abadon and Yuka Sakazaki being on-disc instead of Toni Storm or Jamie Hayter is downright rubbish, and it's rather crap both FTR and The Acclaimed aren't included at launch.

Omega can sit there and talk about post-release promises all he wants, but this lack of depth to Fight Forever's roster really sucks. WWE 2K23 has a better range of wrestlers to pick from, and the addition of an excellent Community Creations hub (more on that later) ensures gamers will never be stuck for new characters.

Poor.
