AEW Fight Forever: 5 Things It Does Better Than WWE 2K23 (And 5 It Doesn’t!)

3. DOESN'T: Range Of Modes

Fire up WWE 2K23 and you'll find everything from exhibition options to Universe Mode, MyGM, MyRise, MyFaction (for those who enjoy such card-collecting madness), John Cena's Showcase and more. That's before you dive into the incredible creation tools or hop online for a match or two.

AEW's title doesn't really have the same range.

You can play exhibitions, including fun match types like the 'Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch', ladder bouts, Casino Battle Royale or 'Lights Out', but it's all rather limited. Further, 'Road To Elite' or the bizarre mini games are your only other genuine options. Beyond that, there's nothing left to explore.

WWE's series has built up a string of strong single and multiplayer modes that keep people coming back for more all year round. Fight Forever can't boast that, meaning you'll likely see everything there is to see after just a few short hours with the thing.

That post-release DLC content should fix things, but paying extra for stuff that probs should've been included on-disc in the first place will irk some gamers out there.
