AEW Game: 10 Features We Must See In The Upcoming Console Title
2. Perfect The Casino Ladder Match
Ladder matches in the WWE games are fun, but not necessarily a perfect experience. It's all too easy to beat the holy living hell out of your opponent at ringside, only to dash into the ring and perform whatever awkward button bashing sequence to secure whatever's hanging above you.
In this bout, twenty-one wrestlers enter the match at different intervals with five at a time in four different groups. Ultimately, one final wild card joins with a huge advantage, and all of that could lend itself to an exciting, enjoyable game mode... providing enough time is put into it and the gameplay mechanics are essentially rebuilt from the ground up.
The Casino Battle Royal mode would also need to be dreamed up from scratch because it's been a very long time since the Royal Rumble was fun to play in any WWE games.
If this AEW game can perfect both modes, then it could provide fans with two out of this world, single player or multiplayer options which are unlike anything seen in a wrestling game before. To get it right, though, throwing someone out of the ring or plucking down that casino chip/title needs to be nothing like what the WWE 2K franchise does year after year.
