AEW Video Game Wishlist: 10 Things Fans Demand

8. An Up-To-The-Minute Roster

One of the most annoying things about 2K's WWE series is that it often feels outdated just a few short weeks after release. Wrestlers might change their appearance, leave the company altogether or be totally repackaged with a different gimmick. That, regrettably, leaves the game feeling old hat.

AEW won't want their title feeling anything other than up-to-date. Despite most of the work already being done on the game, Yuke's will have to dip back into the coding and put the likes of CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Ruby Soho in there. They don't have a choice.

Imagine the first All Elite game released without those stars? That'd be a bloody nightmare.

The roster has to be bang on. Fans will want to play as their favourites out of the box without any pesky "pre-order bonuses" or the like too; that's something else which has blighted WWE's franchise for the longest time now. Too many characters hide behind paywalls, and they rarely feel worth the extra expense.
