After GTA V: 6 Cities We Could Visit Next

1. Carcer City You kind of knew this would be here, didn€™t you? Carcer City: the oft-mentioned but never seen gloomy metropolis that the gaming world has only experienced in Rockstar€™s infamous Manhunt series. As this is clearly the time of new interpretations of the old, this enigmatic locale is positively begging for a reinvention and reintroduction to old and new fans alike. Indeed, if some forums are anything to go by some fans have ardently suggested a return to a new Carcer, and after we€™ve had our fun in Los Santos once more, it would only seem right that the franchise shift to an entirely new setting, perhaps after Rockstar has given itself some breathing space so as to maximise the potential of the plot and characters we€™ll be meeting along the way. I for one imagine the place as a post-industrial wasteland blemished by sprawling slums plagued by weapons, drugs and, if we want to get really dark, human trafficking; a blighted hell where the police, local government and the gangs all blur into a corrupt mass of the scum of the earth, where every neighbourhood is the €˜wrong€™ one and Death doesn€™t give a jot about whatever pitiful socio-political-economic categories you belong to. The military don€™t want to battle with criminals who€™re just as well armed, and the federal government has written the area off as worthless. As TV Tropes would say, it should be the very definition of a Crapsack World turned Up To Eleven. In other words, the perfect place for GTA VI. Six sites for a sixth sequel; do you agree? Offer your own locales and/or fire a broadside at my selections. Either way, I hope you had fun perusing all this.
