Alan Wake 10 Years Later: 10 Moments Worth Revisiting Bright Falls For

6. Stalked By Stucky

Remedy

After waking up from the car accident after that fateful night at the cabin, it doesn’t take long for Alan to come face-to-face with the shadowy horrors that his manuscript has awoken. With no memory of how he ended up in the crash, Alan’s only course of action is to make his way to the distant lights of a gas station to get help. Of course, being a horror story, this walk through the woods is far from peaceful.

Stalking you through the first part of your journey is Carl Stucky, the owner of the gas station – or at least what’s left of him after being corrupted by the darkness.

Yelling mangled gibberish and darting around the shadows just outside your vision, Stucky is never far behind you as you work your way through the deserted logging camp that separates you from the lights that signal your safety.

Couple Stucky’s palpable presence with a foreboding atmosphere amplified by a swirling fog that coats the surrounding area in a living darkness, and you’re left with a delightfully tense sequence that takes pleasure in dangling danger right in front of you, before finally dispatching Stucky yourself.
