3. Multiplayer Controls

One of the main appeals of the multiplayer mode to me is the ability to play as a Xenomorphy, given that the campaign obviously doesn't allow this, and frankly, I miss games like Alien vs. Predator (specifically the second one, which allowed you to play a baby Xeno, chewing your way through a guy's ribcage). However, again, in a stultifying act of stupidity, Gearbox shoot themselves in the foot, because playing as a terrifying Xenomorph often proves more trouble than it's worth, because the thing is so damn hard to control. Stalking Marines online should be a total blast, but Gearbox really makes you work for it here; you'll find yourself awkwardly getting stuck on crates, crashing headlong into walls, and basically
not being a badass monster. Once you get used to the terrible controls things do pick up, but should players really have to adjust to mediocrity? And does Gearbox think that most players will waste precious time doing so?
