When it came to taking a second shot at the Summer Olympics after the first game, Sega must have decided to do it properly this time. Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games is what the first game should have been.

It looks at the sports represented in the original game and makes them better alongside adding new sports and carrying on the streak set by Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games by having actual decent Dream Events.

It even adds football because you can't have a sports game set in England without footy.

As always the Dream Events are the highlight here. Do you find regular Equestrian sports boring? What about Dream Equestrian where you have to focus on not cracking Yoshi eggs as you travel through Moo Moo Meadows.

There's also Dream Spacewalk where you and three others have to fight against Dino Piranha whilst floating through space, I assume this will become an official Olympic sport any day now.

Whilst it unfortunately doesn't add any new characters, it has a boring board game instead. Look even if this is number two on the list it's still no masterpiece.
