Animal Crossing: New Horizons Wishlist - 10 Things Fans Need To See
9. Labo Support
The Nintendo Labo add ons are great fun on their own, but they’re quite expensive for just the base games, and so far haven’t really leant themselves to meshing with Nintendo’s other leading franchises.
Mario Kart 8 had a go at implementing some of the Labo Kit, and the VR version has limited support in Breath Of The Wild, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. All in all though, big franchises haven’t bought into Labo as fully as they might have.
Animal Crossing though, arguably the most peaceful game in Nintendo’s entire roster, is perfect for a Labo add on. It could complement the game as an additional extra, making it more immersive without needing to strip features away from non-Labo players.
The fishing rod add on needs no explanation, but the game could easily apply the other ones too. The little piano could be a mini game where you entertain villagers, and if you have a vehicle to get around the island, there’s a few Labo parts which could help there.
Labo has plenty of options for Animal Crossing to take advantage of, and the tone and audience of both games are similar; seems like a no brainer.
